Slovak tennis player Lukáš Pokorný saw his tournament run come to an end in the Round of 16 after a defeat to sixth seed Zdeněk Kolář. The Czech player lived up to his favorite status and secured a straight-sets victory, 6–4, 6–4.

Pokorný delivered a fighting performance and stayed competitive throughout both sets, but he was unable to capitalize on his opportunities at crucial moments. Kolář was particularly effective on serve, firing four aces and avoiding double faults for the entire match. A key factor was also his success in saving break points, as the Czech player fended off nine of thirteen break-point chances.

Pokorný's campaign therefore ends in the Round of 16, while Kolář advances to the quarterfinals and joins the tournament's final eight players.
