Slovakia’s tennis elite on home soil: Alex Molčan and 2022 Bratislava Open champion Alexander Shevchenko set to compete in the tournament
Preparations for Slovakia’s prestigious tennis tournament are reaching their final stages, and the organizers have already begun unveiling the first big names set to compete. Home fans can look forward in particular to Slovak No. 1 Alex Molčan, who, thanks to his excellent clay-court form, will be one of the tournament’s main favorites and among the seeded players. In addition to Molčan, the organizers have confirmed the participation of 2022 Bratislava Open champion Alexander Shevchenko, as well as Austrian Davis Cup representative Sebastian Ofner. A number of other Slovak players will also be given the opportunity to compete in both the main draw and the qualifying event. The full list of participants will be announced by the organizers at a press conference on Wednesday.
